One of the first really exciting projects that I worked on at BNC was a series of wine labels and a website design for 1882 Wines.
Though the brand had already been developed when I joined the team, I was heavily involved in setting up the press-ready artwork for all of the labels, closures and shipping cartons for the “1882” and “The Old Road” product tiers. When it came time to develop the entry-level tier, I had free-reign to develop the theme and label design from scratch.
For each design in what would become known as “The Times” series, I created a name, blurb and illustration summarising a notable event from 1882 in the style of a period newspaper.
The website was another great opportunity for me to experiment.
